With the onset of Covid-19 there was and increased focus on providing good food to the customers at home. This increased focus meant a change of business strategy, to make available ready-to-eat meals during lockdowns. This resulted in the HACCP-approved Kebabchi brand facility which started in 2021, and now has Indian meals available Online, through Indian retailers, cafes, some airlines, and the Harris Farm markets, as well as distributors in NSW, Victoria and Queensland and plans to grow further afield. Also envisaged for the near future is the new brand called Sona’s Kitchen specializing in signature marinades and cooking sauces.
